2023 USFL odds, lines: Picks and predictions against the spread for Week 2 from football insider

The 2023 USFL season will continue this weekend with eight teams competing from four different hub cities across the United States. USFL Week 2 will begin on Saturday with the Houston Gamblers vs. New Orleans Breakers at 12:30 p.m. ET followed by the Memphis Showboats vs. Birmingham Stallions at 7 p.m. ET. On Sunday, Canton will make its debut as a host city when the New Jersey Generals take on the Pittsburgh Maulers at 1 p.m. ET and then the Michigan Panthers will battle the Philadelphia Stars at 7 p.m. ET. "The Stars looked like a well-oiled machine in their victory last weekend. When you have the ability to operate with balance offensively, you'll be tough to beat. Now, their defense isn't 'great' but they are opportunistic. With that being said, the Panthers will have some opportunity to score the ball against them, especially with the intermediate passing game. This will be the best game of the weekend, but the more experienced group will be able to do enough to cover."
