Another major championship is in the books, and now another strong field will tee off on the other side of the country this week at the 2023 Travelers Championship. Xander Schauffele went 19 under par to win the Travelers last year, and the world's sixth-ranked golfer is part of a Travelers Championship 2023 field that includes the world's top eight players. Of course, that means No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy will also tee off Thursday at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn. Wyndham Clark, who moved up to No. 13 with his U.S. Open victory Sunday, also will draw a lot of attention at the Travelers, which is second on the PGA Tour in fan attendance, behind only the WM Phoenix Open.

Caesars Sportsbook lists Scheffler (6-1) and Patrick Cantlay (9-1) as favorites in its latest 2023 Travelers Championship odds. Rahm (10-1), McIlroy (10-1) and Schauffele (12-1) are the only other players shorter than 20-1 in the Travelers Championship 2023 field, and Clark is a 40-1 longshot.

Before you consider any 2023 Travelers Championship picks or bets, make sure you check out the PGA Tour predictions and best bets from golf betting and fantasy expert Sia Nejad, considering his domination on golf picks!

Nejad specializes in betting and DFS in golf, among other sports. He's had incredible success in the outright and first-round leader markets and in betting head-to-head matchups. Before the Wells Fargo Championship, Nejad had Clark among his longshot outrights, backing the 75-1 longshot before he dominated at Quail Hollow for his first PGA Tour victory!

In 2022, he hit six first-round leaders in a 12-week span while peppering in tournament outrights throughout the year. In 2023, SportsLine debuted "The Early Wedge," and in the first three months of the show, he hit two first-round leaders and three outright winners. Nejad also had a winning head-to-head record in eight of 10 weeks. He was up more than 70 units over that three-month span!

Now, Nejad has been digging into the 2023 Travelers Championship field to find the best value and just locked in his best bets and favorites to avoid.

We can tell you Nejad says there is "great value" on Hovland, who has been excellent in the short game and succeeding with the putter. On the other hand, the expert is fading Scheffler again in the outright market, as he says "that number is simply way too short in this designated field."

Instead, Nejad is jumping on several underdogs, including one HUGE longshot who's priced well above 100-1! This golfer "has shown an ability to get the putter going while also striking the ball well," Nejad says, and he just might stun this elite field. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any 2023 Travelers Championship picks of your own!

So which 2023 Travelers Championship players should you target or avoid? And which golfer could bring a MASSIVE payday of more than 100-1? ...
