The PGA Tour is back on the mainland for the first time this year when the 2023 The American Express tees off Thursday in La Quinta, Calif. A strong field featuring five of the world's top 10 golfers is set to compete in the event, a pro-am played across three courses in the Coachella Valley. Scottie Scheffler, Patrick Cantlay and Jon Rahm are among the stars scheduled to compete.  

Rahm is the 11-2 favorite in the latest 2023 The American Express odds at Caesars Sportsbook. Cantlay (19-2), Scheffler (11-1) and Tony Finau (15-1) also are expected to be top contenders from The American Express 2023 field.

"It's a matter of when (not if) he gets his first on the PGA Tour," Holliman said of Kim. It turned out to be at Sedgefield, where the 20-year-old won by five strokes.
