2023 Pennsylvania Derby morning-line odds, picks, post time: Racing insider offers betting strategy for Saturday's race

The last major derby for 3-year-olds takes place on Saturday when the starting gate opens in the 2023 Pennsylvania Derby at Parx outside Philadelphia. The Bob Baffert-trained Reincarnate has been installed as the 3-1 morning line favorite in the 2023 Pennsylvania Derby odds. Saudi Crown is the 7-2 second choice in the 11-horse Pennsylvania Derby field, while Magic Tap is 5-1. Post time for the $1 million race is 6:10 p.m. ET.

He smashed the trifecta in the Belmont Stakes for $532.96, and later in June, he crushed a Pick 4 at Belmont for $555. Those are just some of his scores this year.

One surprise: Weir is completely tossing Reincarnate, even though he is the 3-1 favorite. "Reincarnate's status as the morning-line favorite is based merely on Baffert's reputation, so I'll play against him," Weir told SportsLine. Weir is not including the horse in any of his wagers.
