2023 Grant Park 220 odds, picks: NASCAR best bets for Chicago from proven racing experts

Racing experts Phil Bobbitt and Steve Greco reveal their picks for the Grant Park 220 2023 on Sunday

By@SportsLineUpdated: Jul 02, 2023 6:56PM UTC . 3 min read

The NASCAR Cup Series will have a new look on Sunday when the 2023 Grant Park 220 takes place in the streets of Chicago at 5:05 p.m. ET. There has never been a Cup Series race through the streets of a major city, but NASCAR is taking over 2.2 miles of Chicago for a unique road course. Chase Elliott is the 11-2 favorite in the 2023 Grant Park 220 odds at Caesars Sportsbook, sitting ahead of Tyler Reddick (13-2), Martin Truex Jr. (15-2) and Kyle Larson (15-2).

Before making any NASCAR picks, be sure to see what elite expert auto racing handicappers Phil Bobbitt and Steve Greco have to say.

Bobbitt and Greco built a predictive engine that consistently beats the books. They find huge value and aren't afraid of volume. Over the past two years, their followers are up nearly $23,000 on $100 plays. In fact, Bobbitt and Greco have nailed 14 outright NASCAR winners each of the past two years! Last season they called 150-1 longshot Chris Buescher winning at Bristol Motor Speedway and Erik Jones winning at Darlington at 60-1. Then they nailed Kyle Busch as an 11-1 winner in Fontana this season and then pegged Martin Truex Jr. as a 12-1 outright winner in Dover. Anybody following them has seen some HUGE returns!

There is generally a slew of comparable tracks when NASCAR goes to a new track, but this is a unique concept for the Cup Series. While the Chicago streets could be compared to other road courses, a street event and a road course are entirely different. In the 10 new events added to the Cup Series schedule since 2018, nine of them have been won by either Hendrick Motorsports (five) or Team Penske (four). Toyota has won both road-course races this season, but it has not won an inaugural event since 2011.

For the 2023 Grant Park 220, we can tell you Bobbitt and Greco are backing AJ Allmendinger to finish ahead of Kyle Busch at -114 odds. Allmendinger won the lone inaugural event added to the schedule since 2018 that Hendrick Motorsports or Penske did not win, taking the checkered flag at the 2021 Verizon 200 on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

Bobbitt and Greco have also identified an EPIC NASCAR longshot they love to win it all! Anyone who backs this driver could hit it BIG! You ABSOLUTELY NEED to see their picks before locking in any NASCAR picks of your own.
