2023 Fantasy Football TE rankings tiers: Great or late is the name of the game, starting with Travis Kelce

Dalton Kincaid is bandied about as the next big thing at the tight end position as the buzz suggests the Bills aren't really going to use him like a tight end. Maybe he quickly becomes an elite option, but we've been waiting for the next big thing at the position for years and are still stuck with sparingly few difference-makers at tight end. Remember, Kyle Pitts came into the league as the next great tight end hope but is still more potential than production two years later.

At the top, we still have Travis Kelce, who seemingly can't even be defeated by Father Time. He had 1,338 yards and 12 touchdowns last year at an age when other former greats (Tony Gonzalez, Jason Witten, Antonio Gates) looked well past their primes. We're banking on him to keep doing it despite the fact that he turns 34 early in the season and his production has to take a dip at some point (we think).

After Kelce, we get to Mark Andrews, the only person around who has proven he can actually outscore his Chiefs counterpart over the course of a season. He may benefit from what should be a more pass-focused offense in Baltimore, especially now that defenses will have to respect the receiving talent around him more than they have in the past. After Andrews, finding the right tight end who can be productive on a weekly basis to help overcome the gap behind the top two could be the key to delivering a Fantasy championship.
