2023 college football Week 6 odds, lines, trends: Legendary Vegas expert reveals picks, predictions

Legendary college football expert Bruce Marshall has studied the trends and revealed the top values in the Week 6 lines

The Week 6 college football schedule features a plethora of matchups that could have a major implication on the playoff picture. The final Big 12 version of the Red River Showdown unfolds on Saturday and No. 3 Texas is a 5-point favorite against No. 12 Oklahoma, according to the SportsLine consensus Week 6 college football odds.

There is a key SEC matchup in both divisions as No. 20 Kentucky goes to No. 1 Georgia (-14.5) and Alabama goes to Texas A&M (+2) in the 3:30 p.m. ET CBS game (see more college football lines right here).

Before making any Week 6 college football bets on those games or others, be sure to see what legendary college football handicapper Bruce Marshall has to say.

For years Vegas-based Marshall was synonymous with The Gold Sheet, the famed sports betting newsletter. With a background in play-by-play work and sports information while in college, Bruce joined TGS in 1981 when hired by the legendary Mort Olshan and served as executive editor for many years. Marshall now supplies his unique and colorful brand of football and basketball analysis to SportsLine members.

An in-demand guest on numerous sports talk radio and TV shows across the country, Bruce's vast array of editorial work has been featured in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the New York Post and many other outlets. He has won various handicapping titles and also is working on several book projects.

Now he's studied the Week 6 college football schedule and used his Tech Corner technique to break down every matchup.

One thing we can tell you for Week 6: Marshall is backing No. 20 Kentucky (+14.5) to cover at No. 1 Georgia in a 7 p.m. ET kickoff in Athens. He also likes the Under (47) in that one.

"The last Wildcats win in this series was in 2009, but UK has covered last four meetings," Marshall said. "The last four in series have gone Under as well. Mark Stoops is 6-1 in last seven vs. spread as a regular-season underdog. Kirby Smart is 0-5 vs. line to begin 2023."

Marshall has evaluated every other matchup and he's found a critical 14-4 spread trend that makes one team a HUGE value on Saturday! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before making any college football picks.
