2022 Wimbledon men's odds, picks: Is Djokovic vs. Nadal final in the cards? Expert who called 60-1 long shot releases predictions

Novak Djokovic aims for a fourth straight Wimbledon title starting Monday, and the Serb received a favorable draw on Friday. The 20-time Grand Slam winner has won six times overall at London's All England Club, but he could end up taking on Grand Slam men's record-holder Rafael Nadal in the final on July 10. Nadal won his 22nd career Grand Slam title -- and his second straight -- at the French Open last month but has just two Wimbledon titles, the last in 2010. The tournament will be missing the world's top two players, with No. 1 Daniil Medvedev banned along with all other Russian and Belarusian players and No. 2 Alexander Zverev out with an injury.

Djokovic is the clear -140 favorite in the latest 2022 Wimbledon men's singles odds at Caesars Sportsbook. Matteo Berrettini, who lost to Djokovic in last year's final in London, is +550, followed by Nadal (+650) and young Spanish star Carlos Alcaraz (+800).

Before you make any men's tennis picks on Wimbledon 2022, you need to see who Sean Calvert is backing.

Calvert is the famed handicapper who called Stan Wawrinka winning the 2014 Australian Open at 60-1 -- the last Australian title won by someone other than Djokovic or Roger Federer. In 2019, Calvert took down a huge score on Dominic Thiem winning Indian Wells at 80-1, among many stunning calls.

Now, Calvert has pored over the latest Wimbledon odds and released his coveted best bets to win it all. We can tell you he's fading Alcaraz, who has become the next big thing in tennis the past few months. But the expert doesn't think the 19-year-old is prepared to put up a fight in this grass-court event and even thinks he might go home VERY early.

Instead, Calvert is backing a pair of MAJOR longshots to make the final who are priced at 40-1 or higher! These players could both take advantage of easy draws to post stunning results that would cash in HUGE. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who they are before locking in any 2021 Wimbledon picks of your own!
