2022 Saudi Cup morning line odds, picks, bets: Kentucky Derby winner Mandaloun favored in Saturday's $20 million race

Sharp handicapper and Beyer Speed Figure maker Bob Weir has had multiple five-figure days at the track and crushed the exacta in the Tampa Bay Derby last year for $1,414. Now he targets the $20 million Saudi Cup on Saturday at King Adbulaziz Racecourse

Fourteen of the world's top horses will leave the starting gate in the 2022 Saudi Cup on Saturday at King Adbulaziz Racecourse. Mandaloun, who was crowned the 2021 Kentucky Derby champion earlier this week after the disqualification of Medina Spirit, is the 5-2 morning-line favorite in the 2022 Saudi Cup odds. Travers Stakes runner-up Midnight Bourbon is next at 4-1 in the 2022 Saudi Cup field, while defending Saudi Cup champion Mishriff is 9-2. Post time for the Saudi Cup 2022 is 12:35 p.m. ET.

Before you make any Saudi Cup 2022 picks or bets, you NEED to see the latest picks from racing insider and Beyer Speed Figure maker Bob Weir.

A Saratoga Springs-based racing insider and Beyer Speed Figure maker, Weir has constructed his wagers in his analysis below. A two-time qualifier for the prestigious National Horseplayers Championship in Las Vegas, Weir has produced multiple five-figure days at the track over the years, including a $60,000 Pick 6 at Del Mar in 2014.

Last year, he was on fire. He hit the exacta in the Sam F. Davis Stakes, Tampa Bay Derby and Peter Pan Stakes, the trifecta in the Risen Star Stakes, Blue Grass Stakes and Pennsylvania Derby and the superfecta in the Belmont Stakes. And last month, he nailed the trifecta in the Pegasus World Cup!

Now, Weir has handicapped the Saudi Cup 2022 field, made his picks and constructed his bets.

One surprise: Weir is high on Country Grammer, even though he is a long shot at 12-1 and coming off a long layoff. "If someone can pull this move off, it's probably [Country Grammer trainer Bob] Baffert," Weir told SportsLine.

Weir's top pick is a horse who is a "talented runner." He also is high on a big double-digit long shot who is "very consistent" and could give you an epic payday! Weir is including these horses in his 2022 Saudi Cup bets, and so should you. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his picks before locking in any of your own.
