2022 NIT odds, picks and predictions: Two-leg parlay that includes Vanderbilt vs. Xavier for Tuesday that would pay almost 3-1 from proven model

More tight battles could be in store at the 2022 National Invitation Tournament on Tuesday as the quarterfinals tip off. Three of the teams playing Tuesday night won by two points Sunday -- two of them against No. 1 seeds. No. 2 seed Xavier cruised past unseeded Florida 72-56 on Sunday but could face a test against No. 4 seed Vanderbilt on Tuesday (9 p.m. ET). The Commodores knocked off top-seeded Dayton 70-68 in overtime. Unseeded Virginia also went to OT and got past No. 2 North Texas 72-69, and it will face St. Bonaventure (7 p.m. ET). The Bonnies eliminated No. 1 seed Oklahoma 70-68 in their second-round game Sunday.
