2022 NIT odds, picks and predictions: Two-leg parlay that includes Vanderbilt vs. Xavier for Tuesday that would pay almost 3-1 from proven model
SportsLine's projection model has generated a parlay for Tuesday's National Invitation Tournament quarterfinal games that would pay almost 3-1
More tight battles could be in store at the 2022 National Invitation Tournament on Tuesday as the quarterfinals tip off. Three of the teams playing Tuesday night won by two points Sunday -- two of them against No. 1 seeds. No. 2 seed Xavier cruised past unseeded Florida 72-56 on Sunday but could face a test against No. 4 seed Vanderbilt on Tuesday (9 p.m. ET). The Commodores knocked off top-seeded Dayton 70-68 in overtime. Unseeded Virginia also went to OT and got past No. 2 North Texas 72-69, and it will face St. Bonaventure (7 p.m. ET). The Bonnies eliminated No. 1 seed Oklahoma 70-68 in their second-round game Sunday.   Â
Caesars Sportsbook lists both Virginia and Xavier as 3.5-point favorites in its latest NIT college basketball odds. Once you decide on your spread picks, you can earn an even bigger payoff if you combine them in a parlay.Â

The model has locked in its spread picks for Tuesday's quarterfinal matchups, and if you combine them into a parlay, it would pay well over 2-1. We will reveal one leg of the parlay: The model projects Xavier to beat Vanderbilt by twice the 3.5-point spread against Vanderbilt in the nightcap. The Musketeers blew out the Gators on Sunday, with five players scoring in double figures, while Vandy relies a little too heavily on Scotty Pippen Jr.. The Commodores have just one other player who averages double digits in points.  Â
The model also has a pick in Tuesday's first game that hits well over 70 percent of the time, and you'll want to jump on it right away. You ABSOLUTELY need to see these picks before locking in any college basketball picks of your own.
