The Red Raiders (26-9) obliterated Montana State 97-62 on Friday in their first-round West Region matchup, while the Irish (24-10) surged past Alabama 78-64. Notre Dame also beat Rutgers 89-87 in two overtimes in a First Four matchup Tuesday in Dayton, Ohio.
