The Wright State Raiders got their first ever NCAA Tournament win on Wednesday night in its First Four matchup against Bryant. Now things are going to get a lot tougher as the No. 16 seed in the South Region will take on No. 1 seed Arizona in the first round on Friday. The Arizona Wildcats led the country with 31 wins on the season and won both the Pac-12 regular-season title and the tournament title. Meanwhile, Wright State finished fourth in the Horizon League but won the conference tournament in the final minute to earn a 2022 NCAA Tournament bid.

Tipoff is set for 7:27 p.m. ET in the Aztec Bowl in San Diego. The Wildcats are 21.5-point favorites in the latest Arizona vs. Wright State odds from Caesars Sportsbook, and the Over-Under is set at 157. (Head over to our college basketball odds page for up-to-date odds on every game).

Before you make any Wright State vs. Arizona picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of almost $1,500 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows that this is an impressive Arizona squad with great size and length. Azuolas Tubelis, Christian Koloko and Oumar Ballo give the Wildcats a high-quality trio of bigs and Bennedict Mathurin is arguably the best two-way wing in the country. Mathurin was Pac-12 Player of the Year after averaging 17.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. Arizona ranks third in the nation in field-goal percentage (49.6) and 11th in field-goal percentage allowed (38.7).

The model also knows that Wright State can score, as it proved on Wednesday night in its First Four win over Bryant. The Raiders scored 93 points in the victory and Tanner Holden had 37 points and 11 rebounds to lead the way. After hitting the game-winning shot with just over 10 seconds left in the Horizon title game, Trey Calvin had 21 points in the win over Bryant. Wright State is averaging 76.0 points per game for the season.

Now, the model has broken down the Arizona vs. Wright State matchup from every angle and revealed its results. We can tell you the model is leaning Under on the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in well over 60 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
