2022 MLB All-Star Game odds, lineups: Clayton Kershaw, Shane McClanahan expected to start Midsummer Classic
Kershaw will start the All-Star Game for the first time, and he'll do so in front of his home crowd

Managers Brian Snitker of the Atlanta Braves and Dusty Baker of the Houston Astros announced their lineups and starting pitchers for Tuesday's MLB All-Star Game. Future Hall-of-Famer Clayton Kershaw was named the National League's starting pitcher. Kershaw, who has spent his entire career with the Los Angeles Dodgers, will make his first All-Star start in front of a familiar crowd at Dodger Stadium. The American League will counter with Shane McClanahan of the Tampa Bay Rays. First pitch is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. EST.Â
The two lineups are stacked, as is to be expected for the Midsummer Classic, but injuries have forced a number of the voted starters to sit the game out. Mike Trout, Bryce Harper, Joe Altuve, Starling Marte, and Jazz Chisholm will all not play, and some of the named reserves are nursing injuries as well.Â
Caesars Sportsbook currently lists the American League as the -105 favorite to win. The Over/Under is set at 8, with Under being a -125 favorite.Â
