The 2022 Formula 1 schedule continues on Sunday with the 2022 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on Sunday, Oct. 2. The race has a scheduled start time of 8 a.m. ET. Max Verstappen's season has yielded 11 victories and after winning the drivers championship by a narrow margin last season, the Red Bull Racing driver is running away with the title in 2022. He holds a 116-point lead over Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Red Bull has a 139-point lead in the constructors championship. Verstappen is the -162 favorite (risk $162 to win $100) in the 2022 Singapore Grand Prix odds from Caesars Sportsbook while Leclerc is at 7-2.

SportsLine's proven computer projection model simulated the Singapore Grand Prix 2022 10,000 times and came up with a surprising leaderboard.

Developed by daily Fantasy pro and SportsLine predictive data engineer Mike McClure, this proprietary Formula 1 prediction model takes into account a slew of factors including track history and recent results.

The model has been scorching hot when it comes to picking Formula 1 race events dating back to 2021. It nailed both of Leclerc's wins in 2022, and at the 2021 Mexican Grand Prix, the model was strongly backing Verstappen as its top pick. The result: Verstappen dominated the field and ran away with a surprising victory. The model followed that up by calling Verstappen's win at the Rolex Emilia Romagna GP in April and then again the last two weeks in Belgium and the Netherlands. Anyone who followed the model's lead on those plays has seen HUGE returns!

The Marina Bay Street Circuit first appeared on the Formula 1 schedule in 2008 and it hosted the Singapore Grand Prix every season through 2019. However, the Singapore Grand Prix was canceled in 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic so this will be the first time that Formula One has returned to Marina Bay in three years. Sebastian Vettel has a record five victories in the Singapore Grand Prix (three with Red Bull-Renault and two with Ferrari) but the Aston Martin driver is a 1000-1 underdog for Sunday.

Now, the model has dialed in on the 2022 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix and just released its coveted picks and leaderboard projections.

We can tell you the model is fading Lewis Hamilton even though he's the third favorite for the 2022 Singapore Grand Prix at 17-2. Hamilton is a four-time winner of the race but it's been a down year for Mercedes, who is a distant third in the contructors standings after winning the championship in each of the last eight years. Mercedes hasn't managed a win all season and Hamilton is sixth in the drivers standings with just 6 podiums all season. The model predicts he fails to hit the podium again on Sunday.

The model is also targeting two other drivers with Singapore Grand Prix odds of 10-1 or longer to make a serious charge up the leaderboard! Anyone who backs these drivers could hit it BIG. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who they are before locking in any Formula 1 Singapore GP picks of your own.

So who wins the 2022 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix? And which long shot is a MUST-BACK? ... Join SportsLine right now to see the full projected F1 Singapore GP leaderboard, all from the model that has nailed its racing picks all year, and find out!
