Ghana will get a chance to avenge their infamous loss in the 2010 World Cup quarterfinals when they take on Uruguay in a Group H matchup on Friday at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Ghana can advance to the knockout stage with a win or a draw (unless South Korea beats Portugal). The Black Stars lost 3-2 to Portugal last Thursday and then beat South Korea by the same score on Monday. Uruguay would also go through with a win, but possible tiebreaker scenarios could be triggered if the Koreans also prevail. The South American side played to a scoreless draw with South Korea last Thursday and lost 2-0 to Portugal on Monday.

The match from Al Janoub Stadium in Al-Wakrah, Qatar, will kick off at 10 a.m. ET. Uruguay are -150 favorites (risk $150 to win $100) in the latest Ghana vs. Uruguay odds from Caesars Sportsbook. A draw is priced at +280 and the over/under for total goals is set at 2.5. (For more soccer coverage, click here.)

Before you lock in your Ghana vs. Uruguay picks or World Cup 2022 predictions, you need to see what SportsLine's soccer simulation model has to say.

The SportsLine soccer simulation model evaluates a team's offensive and defensive capabilities based on the game situation. Then, it assigns a grade using an expected payout-to-probability ratio. The model was accurate on 56% of all picks during the Champions League group stage and returned more than $1,000 to $100 bettors on its A+ picks. It also went 17-9-2 (+526) on spread picks to start the World Cup. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Ghana can score in bunches. The Black Stars put two balls in net against formidable Portugal, and then fired in three goals to beat Korea. Midfielder Thomas Partey is the engine that makes the whole team click, navigating the pitch and setting up the attack. The Ghanian offense will be particularly eager to strike against Uruguay, with the side still smarting from Luis Suarez's intentional handball to send Ghana home from the 2010 World Cup.

The model also has considered that Uruguay have offensive potential, even if the team is yet to score in Qatar. The side boasts veteran attackers in Suarez and Edinson Cavani and younger threats like Darwin Nuñez and Federico Valverde. Uruguay entered the World Cup as the No. 14 team in FIFA's global rankings and should still be considered dangerous.

Now, the model has taken an in-depth look at the Ghana vs. Uruguay match from every angle. It is leaning Over on the total, and it says one side of the money has ALL the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any 2022 World Cup picks.
