Croatia look to begin another strong showing in the tournament when they take on Morocco in their Group F opener of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday. After failing to advance to the knockout stage in 2014, the Croatians reached the final of the competition four years ago but suffered a 4-2 loss against France. Morocco got past the group stage in only one of its five World Cup appearances, losing to West Germany in the Round of 16 in 1986.

Kickoff is set for 5 a.m. ET at Al-Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar. The Croatians are +114 favorites in the latest Croatia vs. Morocco odds from Caesars Sportsbook, with the Moroccans +270 underdogs. A draw is priced at +210 and the over/under for total goals is set at 2.5. (For more soccer coverage, click here.)

Before you lock in your Morocco vs. Croatia picks or World Cup 2022 predictions, you need to see what SportsLine's soccer simulation model has to say.

The SportsLine soccer simulation model evaluates a team's offensive and defensive capabilities based on the game situation. Then, it assigns a grade using an expected payout-to-probability ratio. The model was accurate on 56% of all picks during the Champions League group stage and returned more than $1,000 to $100 bettors on its A+ picks. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Croatia, who have won five straight matches across all competitions, had balanced scoring during World Cup Qualifying as three players scored three goals apiece while three others each tallied twice. Midfielder Luka Modric was one of the three with a trio of goals and also scored a pair in six UEFA Nations League contests. Forward Ivan Perisic and midfielder Mario Pasalic also netted three tallies during Qualifying while forward Andrej Kramaric, who scored twice, recorded the lone goal in Croatia's 1-0 victory against Saudi Arabia in a friendly last week.

The model also has considered that Morocco have been playing well defensively, posting clean sheets in four consecutive contests and five of their last six. Forward Ayoub El Kaabi led the Moroccans with five goals during World Cup Qualifying but was left off the roster, putting scoring responsibilities on players such as Sofiane Boufal. A 29-year-old forward, Boufal has scored in two of the team's last three friendlies, while fellow forward Youssef En-Nesyri has tallied in three of his past four appearances for the Atlas Lions.

Now, the model has taken an in-depth look at the Croatia vs. Morocco match from every angle, and it has a pick on one side that has all the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any 2022 World Cup picks.
