As we look ahead to the upcoming season, SportsLine gathered 12 premier Fantasy analysts for our half-PPR Mock Draft. Reviewing the 2022 Fantasy Football picks from our experts can help you map out a winning draft plan. SportsLine Fantasy expert Jacob Gibbs organized the draft, which includes a diverse crew of drafters from around the industry -- spanning DFS pros, top Fantasy rankers, and even an NBA analyst who loves Fantasy!

Gibbs uses a data-driven approach that has helped him consistently provide accurate rankings at every position. He has proven to be one of the nation's most accurate Fantasy rankers in recent years -- posting the eighth-most accurate results over the past three seasons, according to Fantasy Pros. For this mock, Gibbs wanted to feature experts with all sorts of different backgrounds. This was the second of three SportsLine mock drafts with analysis that he put together -- the first of which was a CBS reunion with former CBS Fantasy analyst Ben Gretch, a full-PPR draft that did feature many top experts but was centered on fun and had more of a true home league feel. Next week, Gibbs is bringing together as many of the top experts as are available -- JJ Zachariason, Jared SmolaJustin Boone, and the legendary 32 Beat Writers account will be there, to name a few -- to draft a Superflex league.

Gibbs's eighth-highest accuracy ranking wasn't enough to make him the most accurate ranker in this half-PPR draft, as the No. 1 pick belonged to 2021's most accurate ranker, Billy Muzio. Muzio grabbed Christian McCaffrey with the 1.01, and he was followed by 2020's most-accurate ranker at the WR position, David Zach. Zach didn't have much opportunity to put his knowledge of the WR position to use with Jonathan Taylor staring him down as the obvious 1.02 pick, but he did load up with wide receivers in three of his next four picks.

NBA analyst Alex Kennedy drafted from the three-hole; he has the third pick in his upcoming money league draft, so this provided very real practice for him! In addition to other well-known Fantasy analysts, this draft featured DFS pros Alex Baker and Mark Garcia picking from the four and nine spots, respectively.

In Gibbs's opinion, two of the best drafts belonged to experts who haven't even been mentioned to this point, yet. You'll want to see the draft strategies that were used in this draft and how they ended up working out among such a sharp group of drafters -- there's a lot to learn from this crew.
