As we look ahead to the upcoming season, SportsLine gathered 12 premier Fantasy analysts for our PPR Mock Draft. Reviewing the 2022 Fantasy Football picks from our experts can help you map out a winning draft plan.
SportsLine Fantasy expert Jacob Gibbs organized the draft, which includes an illustrious crew of Fantasy experts from SportsLine and CBS Sports Fantasy. Gibbs uses a data-driven approach that has helped him consistently provide accurate rankings at every position. He has proven to be one of the nation's most accurate Fantasy rankers in recent years -- posting the eighth-most accurate results over the past three seasons, according to Fantasy Pros. This mock features other top experts such as Ben Gretch of Stealing Bananas and CBS Sports' Jamey Eisenberg, Heath Cummings, and Adam Aizer.
Even with some of the top experts in the industry, this draft had more of a "home league" feel to it than any of the upcoming SportsLine mock drafts will. This was a bit of a reunion, as former CBS Sports analyst Ben Gretch re-joined the crew that he had drafted with so many times before -- and between the jokes at Aizer's expense and Round 1 reaches for Josh Allen and Travis Kelce, it very much felt like an accurate simulation of what might go down in longstanding league of friends.
Even with more shenanigans than usual, this draft still featured some interesting draft strategies from some of the best in the business and offered some takeaways well worth analyzing.
