2021 PGA Championship Sunday odds, picks: Proven computer model reveals projected leaderboard, surprising PGA golf projections

The SportsLine Projection Model simulated the final round of the 2021 PGA Championship 10,000 times and came up with a shocking leaderboard

Phil Mickelson sits atop the leaderboard heading into the final round of the 2021 PGA Championship. With a victory at Kiawah Island, Mickelson will become the oldest major winner (50) in golf history. Mickelson is seven-under par heading into Sunday's final round, one shot ahead of Brooks Koepka. Koepka, a four-time major champion, is the 3/2 favorite at William Hill Sportsbook, followed by Mickelson (3-1) and Louis Oosthuizen (6-1).

We simulated the final round of the 2021 PGA Championship 10,000 times, and there are some MAJOR surprises.

Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been RED-HOT since the PGA Tour resumed last June. In fact, it's up almost $10,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

At the Masters in April, McClure nailed Jon Rahm's (+250) top-five finish, as well as Corey Conners' (+550) top-10 showing. McClure's best bets netted over $450 at the Masters.

In addition, McClure was all over Daniel Berger's win at +1400 in his best bets at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February. McClure also nailed Viktor Hovland's (+2500) victory in the Mayakoba Golf Classic in December. That was one of many huge calls he's made in the past few months.

This same model has nailed a whopping six majors entering the weekend. Anyone who has followed it has seen MASSIVE returns!

One major surprise the model is calling for at the 2021 PGA Championship: Mickelson, a five-time major champion and the leader heading into Sunday's final round, stumbles and barely cracks the top five! Another surprise: Joaquin Niemann, a massive 33-1 long shot, makes a strong run at the title. He's a target for anyone looking for a HUGE payday.

Also, the model is targeting THREE OTHER golfers with odds longer than 33-1 who will make a surprising run, including two EPIC long shots who will finish near the top of the leaderboard! Anyone who backs these underdogs could hit it BIG.
