The third-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (12-1) hope to move a step closer to their first national championship since 1980 when they square off in the CFP Semifinal against the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines (12-1) on Friday in the 2021 Orange Bowl. Kickoff from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Bulldogs are 7.5-point favorites in the latest Georgia vs. Michigan odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 46. (See the latest college football lines for all of this week's games on our college football odds page.)

Before making any Michigan vs. Georgia picks or college football predictions, you need to see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $3,600 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. It also entered the third week of the 2021-22 college football bowl season on a 43-30 run on all top-rated college football side picks. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Georgia was the nation's top-ranked team prior to its 41-24 setback against then-No. 3 Alabama in the SEC championship game on Dec. 4, which resulted in the teams switching positions in the rankings. The Bulldogs are in the College Football Playoff for the second time, as they needed double overtime to edge Oklahoma in the 2017 Semifinal before suffering a 26-23 overtime loss against Alabama in the championship. Georgia, which has allowed a nation-low 9.5 points per game this season, is making its school-record 25th consecutive bowl appearance - the longest active streak in the country.

The model also knows Michigan is coming off a 42-3 demolition of then-No. 13 Iowa in the Big Ten title game on Dec. 4. The Wolverines have been an offensive juggernaut of late, producing 143 points over their last three contests while allowing only 48. Michigan, which is seeking its first national championship since 1997, has lost four straight bowl games and six of its last seven after concluding its 2019 season with a 35-16 setback against Alabama in the Citrus Bowl.

Now the model has simulated Georgia vs. Michigan 10,000 times, and the results are in. We can tell you that the model is leaning Under on the total, and it also says one side of the spread has all the value. You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in your own picks.
