We simulated the 2017 QBE Shooutout at Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, FL 10,000 times and came up with a surprising leaderboard. Our proprietary computer model was all over the majors last year, and is off to a hot start again this year. It was all over Rickie Fowler at the Hero World Challenge, and had three players in its projected top 5 finish T-4 or better. This week, the 24-person field, which includes 15 of the top 50 ranked players in the world, will feature 12 two-person teams vying for the title. One huge surprise the model is calling for the 2017 QBE Shootout this year: Daniel Berger and Gary Woodland, who are 9/1 long shots, are set to make a serious run at the title. Another curveball: Defending champions and Vegas favorites Matt Kuchar and Harris English finish outside the Top-3…. Join SportsLine here to see which team you can bank on to win the QBE Shootout and see which long shots are set to make a run at the title, all from the model off to a blistering start this season and that nailed three majors heading into the weekend in 2017.
