2023 Masters odds: Full outright winner odds, with Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler at the top

The 2023 edition of the Masters Tournament is underway at Augusta National on Thursday morning, and defending champion Scottie Scheffler was the sole favorite to repeat in the outright winner odds available at Caesars Sportsbook earlier this week. However, by the time players teed off on Thursday, 2022 runner-up Rory McIlroy had been installed as co-favorite with Scheffler, the man who beat him by three strokes last April. Both golfers were listed at +650 to win the Masters prior to the Thursday morning start time for the field.

Five-time Masters champion Tiger Woods made the cut at Augusta last year in his first professional tournament in 18 months, and even though he's a longshot to win this year at +9000, he said recently "my game is better than it was last year at this particular time," per CBS Sports. While Woods' odds continued to rise throughout the week, he was the biggest liability at one key sportsbook as of midday Wednesday, trailed by Jordan Spieth (+1400) and Scheffler.

The Masters announced in December that their qualification criteria for the tournament would not be altered, which gave 18 golfers currently competing in the LIV Golf tour access to this year's tournament. Of those qualifiers, 2020 champion Dustin Johnson and 2020 runner-up Cameron Smith have the shortest odds to win outright at +2200.
