Today's top picks: Why the Suns will cover against the Nets and more college football, college basketball, NBA and NFL expert bets for Saturday, Nov. 27
Allan Bell is joined by expert sports bettors Mike McClure, Micah Roberts and Justin Perri on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for college football, college basketball and NBA for Saturday, Nov. 20.
McClure starts things off with his only play of the day: Under 14 points in the first quarter of Michigan-Ohio State (noon ET). "I think [the Wolverines] are going to do all they can to not give up the big play, keep the clock moving as much as they can," he says.
Roberts' first play comes in the NFL: Titans (+7) against the Patriots (1 p.m. ET Sunday). "[The Titans have] been winning on the road all season, 4-1 on the road, and they've won four straight games straight up on the road as an underdog," he says.
Roberts' second play comes in the NBA: Suns (+3) against the Nets (7:30 p.m. ET): "The desire to win 16 straight counts for a lot," he says.
His final play is a two-team NBA moneyline parlay (+132): 76ers over Timberwolves (6 p.m. ET) and Hawks over Knicks (7:30 p.m. ET).Â
All four of Perri's picks come in college basketball. The first is Northeastern (+2.5) to cover against Harvard (5 p.m. ET). "I think the wrong team might be favored," he says.
His second play is Indiana (-11.5) to cover against Marshall (7 p.m. ET). "[The Hoosiers] have been covering these big spreads," he says.
He also likes Utah State (-14.5) to cover against UT-Arlington (9 p.m. ET). "Look for this one to get close to 20," he says. "Utah State has been playing pretty well."
Perri's final play is Dixie State (+12.5) to cover against Weber State (9 p.m. ET). "Dixie State is gonna come out and want to try to do their best against an in-state rival," he says.
Bell closes things out with a college football play: Ohio State (-7) to cover against Michigan (noon ET). "The Bucks have won 11 straight as a road favorite," he says. "They've covered nine of them, and they've won 24 straight versus Big Ten opponents."
