Today's picks: Why Padres will win vs. Dodgers, plus more MLB, NBA and Euro 2020 selections for Wednesday, June 23

Questionable coaching decisions by Tyronn Lue in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals are raised by Zack to lead off, and then Mike goes into how totals are dropping and defenses are tightening as we get deeper into the NBA playoffs. Larry takes an look at the Atlanta injury report heading into the Eastern Conference Finals. 

The SportsLine Plays of the Day from the site models and experts are next up. The Coach highlights Wednesday's Euro 2020 selections, including France +125 over Portugal at 3 p.m. ET, and Slovakia and Spain to go over 2.5 goals at noon ET. In the Hawks-Bucks Game 1 matchup at 8:30 p.m. ET, the featured plays are the Hawks at +8, and John Collins to go over 14.5 points, as he already has shown he can soar over that number. The MLB Play of the Day is the A's -1.5 over the Rangers, as picking on Mike Foltynewicz is always a good move. 

A formula for MLB success that Mike always follows is to look for young pitchers with good stuff and expected numbers in friendly pitching situations. That is the path he follows in White Sox-Pirates at 12:35 p.m. ET, as Dylan Cease works in a strong pitching environment while getting a league shift. He is taking Chicago -1.5 on the run line. 

The Rays have been in the habit of losing extra-inning games recently, but Zack sees that trend coming to an end in Tampa Bay-Boston at 7:10 p.m. ET. He recommends the Rays at -140. Zack is also on the Padres -115 over the Dodgers at 10:10 p.m. ET. "The Dodgers are struggling to score, with just two runs on Monday and two runs on Tuesday," he says. "You look at Trevor Bauer, he has been a little bit unsteady. On the road, he s 1-7 in his last eight games. Take the Padres," 

Larry recommends the Nationals at +105 over the Phillies at 1:10 p.m. ET, as Erick Fedde will continue to roll. He is also taking the sizzling Mariners +101 over the Rockies at 4:10 p.m. ET.
