Understanding Public and Money
Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

We're going to go ahead and bite at what appears to be a bit of an inflated number. The public likely remembers the Broncos, in their first post-Jeanty performance, getting blown out on the road by an inspired South Florida club. Meanwhile, the two-loss Irish have rebounded by throttling Purdue and Arkansas on consecutive weeks. But we expect the Broncos, who have shown vast improvement since that Week 1 loss, to return to their standard of respectability against the big boys and cover this massive number.
Notre Dame team total has been good to us, so why not go back to it. Notre Dame's defense has been a problem, but the offense has been rolling through 4 games. Boise has allowed 37 and 34 points in its two road games this season, and those were against Air Force and South Florida, who aren't known for explosive offenses. Boise has a tackling issue and that will be a problem against Jeremiyah Love and Notre Dame.
