Penn State had their bubble burst game last week versus Indiana. If they can run the table with a 11-1 record and Michigan beats Ohio State there is a chance they could play in the Big 10 Championship Game. Michigan is on deck next week in Happy Valley. It is my belief they can not get caught looking ahead. Penn State's defense is #2 in yards per play allowed and #3 in points per game allowed. Penn State is 15-5-1 ATS their last 21 games. Maryland is 8-10 ATS their last 18 games and are currently on a three-game SU/ATS losing streak.

I think new CFB #1 Ohio State might've broken both of these teams. Penn State had covered the spread for a year straight and didn't come close last week against Indiana after the Buckeyes dominated them the week before. Maryland has been even worse since blowing a lead in the Horseshoe, they have lost to Illinois and Northwestern outright. Penn State has dominated this series of late and have covered in their last nine road games against unranked teams. Penn State 34, Maryland 17.
