The Maryland Terrapins are a much better team than the Purdue Boilermakers. The Terrapins gave Michigan their toughest test of the season in the Big House two weeks ago. Last week they beat up on the Spartans winning by two touchdowns. The Boilermakers have struggled this season. They got an easy game against Minnesota last week while the Gophers best player was out due to injury. Terrapins quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa has shown he can do whatever it takes to win these close games. Lay the points with the Terps.

I don't think the market has caught on to how good this Maryland team is, and it's showing in this line against a Purdue team I don't find to be all that good. The Boilermakers beat Minnesota last week, but didn't play well. It was more the result of Minnesota missing its best player on offense and proceeding to shoot itself in the foot over and over. Maryland isn't going to do that. This is one of the best offenses Purdue's defense will have faced so far, and I don't expect it to pass the test.
