Boise State is a mess right now and the market hasn't caught on yet. The Broncos lost to UTEP 27-10 last time out, and after another abysmal offensive performance, fired their offensive coordinator. Shortly afterward, starting QB Hank Bachmeier entered the transfer portal, ending his time as a Bronco. While it could prove to be a good long-term move, it's hard to imagine teams improve in their next game after losing both their offensive playcaller and QB. Particularly against a defense that's done a good job of getting after the QB like San Diego State.

In comes one of the more well disciplined teams in the Mountain West Conference in San Diego State, who's defense will be ready to take full advantage of this opportunity vs a new starting QB. Boise struggled against UTEP last weekend, and looking at nearly a full touchdown spread just doesn't sit right with me.
