I just don’t trust the Nittany Lions’ offense -- specifically quarterback Sean Clifford. He is under 60% passing during his five-year career and the whole unit looked disjointed against Wisconsin. No, Ball State didn’t exactly look sharp against Western Illinois either. But the ultra-experienced Falcons will at least find a way to keep it within 20 -- especially since Penn State will likely be looking ahead to Auburn next week.

If you're Ball State, this is the perfect time to catch Penn State. The Nittany Lions are fresh off a big road win against Wisconsin, and they have another big game against Auburn looming next week. It wouldn't surprise me if Penn State is caught looking past a solid Ball State squad. Not that I think there's any chance of an upset, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Nittany Lions let off the gas a bit late to keep players fresh for Auburn.
