Stanford lost its first game of the year 35-14 at Oregon but played without starting QB Davis Mills, a six-point drop off. Mills returned for Game 2, but Stanford was surprised by an overachieving Colorado team 35-32. But last week the Cardinal got their first win, 24-23, over rival California. Mills was 24 of 32 for 205 yards, a touchdown pass and zero interceptions. Washington is off to a 3-0 start under first year head coach Jimmy Lake, however the Huskies were very fortunate against Oregon State and Utah. Lake has big shoes to fill and I think will be out-coached by Stanford's David Shaw.
