The Alijah Arenas debut for SC was mostly a non-event last Wednesday vs. Northwestern, as Arenas promptly missed 12 of his 15 FG attempts as Northwestern upset the Trojans. What might disturb SC backers even more is that Arenas, in his season debut, took more than twice as many shots as any other starter, including leading active scorer G Chad Baker-Mazara, though he was limited by foul problems. Whatever, Big Ten play is looking a problem for the Trojans, and after getting hammered a couple of weeks ago at the Michigan schools, might not be looking forward to this trip to Madison.
