The Big Sky is looking a home-team league this season and here's another chance to test that trend. UNC has been playing in some bad luck, losing three straight close decisions, including a nip-and-tuck battle at Greeley vs. Weber State, but at home topped a solid Idaho State previous, and pre-league includes some notable efforts, such as a win at Big 12 Colorado and a combative effort at ranked Texas Tech. Steve Smiley has a balanced lineup with sr. G Quinn Denker (18.1 ppg) a candidate for Big Sky MVP. The Bobcats did beat the Bears by 14 at Bozeman on New Year's when hitting 52% from the floor, but haven't shown similar KO power away, recently falling short at Idaho. Play Northern Colorado.
