At their own level of the mid-majors (where Thursday opponent UIC also resides), the Panthers might be a wrecking machine this season, with a chance to dominate the Big South thanks to what has been a 95 ppg offense (distorted a bit by scoring 127 vs. lower-tier Averett). Former Florida State and Xavier transfer F Cam'Ron Fletcher (17.3 ppg) flourishing for the Point, which has already blown away the likes of Furman, Jacksonville, and Canisius. A mostly-new Flames roster seems less advanced, with a real struggle at Chicago State last Saturday serving as a red flag. Play High Point.
