New Explorers HC Darris Nichols (via Radford) has already tasted the Big Five...but it wasn't good like a Pat's cheesesteak. A 90-63 loss last Tuesday vs Temple introduced Nichols to Philly-style hoops, and the all-portal Explorers roster remains a work in progress at best as Nichols experiments with various combos among his nine-man rotation. LaSalle doesn't look ready to take on a legit Big East entry like Nova, with its own new HC (Kevin Willard) but a sharper look with JMU transfer G Bryce Lindsay (23 ppg) off to a blistering start and one of five Cats scoring in DDs. Now these two should do the right thing and move future matchups to the Palestra, where all Big Five games should be played! Play Villanova.
