Fran Dunphy probably has no regrets returning to his alma mater to coach these past three years, though it's a bit sad to see this future HOFer end his legendary career with a whimper as LaSalle has slumped to seven losses in a row (Dunphy retires at season's end). Dunphy simply hasn't had depth or firepower with the Explorers, with the offense stalled, scoring just 60 ppg across the last three losses. GMU might be the last A-10 team that Dunphy would want to face now, first because the contending Patriots are off of their worst effort of the season in a shock heavy loss at Duquesne, but also because Tony Skinn's side plays real defense, allowing just 63.2 pg, ranking 12th nationally.
