It's been a tough campaign for the Buffalo-area entries in the MAAC with Niagara and Canisius at the foot of the table. Just not a lot of weaponry for Purple Eagles HC Greg Paulus, whose offense labors at 68 ppg (ranks 315th in scoring), with top scorer and Ohio U transfer G Olumide Adelodun only at 10.3 pgp and quite erratic, recently drawing the big donut against Canisius. Though Tobin Anderson's Iona has lost a bit of momentum after winning six of seven, the Gaels only have one poor effort in MAAC action (at Manhattan) and already won four on the loop trial, and with the best scoring threat on the floor in ex-Northern Colorado G Dejour Reaves (16.8 ppg).
