Nebraska has been a pretty strong road team this year, going 9-4 against the spread including a sweep of Oregon and Washington in their recent Pacific Northwest trip and then winning (and covering) as a short favorite at Northwestern over the weekend. Now the Huskers visit a Penn State team that’s absolutely reeling, having lost seven straight games in a run where the Nittany Lions have also failed to cover in their last five. There's also a matchup edge for Nebraska with enough solid perimeter defenders to disrupt what Ace Baldwin and the rest of Penn State's guards want to get going offensively.

The Huskers keep showing up so we keep riding them. They overcame a 20-point deficit at Northwestern to win their fifth game in their last six. Huskers continue to cut off easy baskets and force corner threes, as their D is much improved over last three weeks, allowing just 72.5/G (allowing 78/G in Big 10 on season). PSU used to be tough at home but their only home conference wins are vs WSH and RUT. They have scored 67 or less in four of five and are second-worst defensive team in Big 10. Huskers have won at PSU recently and blew them out at home each of last two years. PSU is -7.7 in the conference this season and are playing out the string.
