Was looking at this last night but it was too high for me at -220 -- have to say that I never expected it to dip this much. To be clear, W-L records are overrated, but American is atop the Patriot League at 9-3 in conference action (8-1 in past nine) and has probably the league's best player in Matt Rogers. Lafayette is 5-7 in the Patriot and lost at home to the Eagles by seven on Jan. 29. Rogers was terrific with 21 points and eight rebounds. Our model has American by six this time. After missing the prior game against Loyola Maryland, Lafayette got their top player back in Justin Vander Baan in Saturday’s win over Navy. Despite being in the bottom half of the Patriot League standings, they find themselves as a short underdog on the road against conference leader American.
