We're surprised a bit that the RedHawks are getting points at Mt. Pleasant. After all, Miami-O is hot on the heels of Akron in the MAC, and has won 10 of 11 with an offense hitting at a brisk 82.3 ppg and outscoring everyone in the MAC not named the Zips. Shooting numbers remain very good; at 49.5% from the floor, the RedHawks rank 10th nationally, and Travis Steele's collection of transfers hits 39.5% beyond the arc (ranks 5th). Miami is the only team in the country to rank in the top ten in both categories. As for CMU, it is very unremarkable, only 4-5 in MAC play, and the only Chips' wins in conference play are against various second-division entries. Play Miami-Ohio.
