Iowa State just a week ago last Monday was on the verge of a win at Arizona. With Caleb Love sending in a beyond half court shot, the Cyclones lost in overtime. That loss spilled over into a pathetic showing Saturday at home against Kansas State. Look for the Cyclones to regroup against a Kansas team that is showing the inability to compete for forty minutes.

Iowa State has dropped their last two games, and the Jayhawks had an awful second half against Baylor over the weekend. Both of these are struggling, yes, but Allen Fieldhouse is difficult place to play, as they’re 10-2 SU this season. The Cyclones are 8-3 SU in conference play but have been shooting less than 49% over their last three games as the absence of Milan Momcilovic is starting to show. Kansas is slowly getting healthier, and they have the physicality downlow to protect the interior while also having the ability to stop the Cyclones in transition. Kansas also lost their first meeting by 17 points on the road.
