The big player question was the status of SDSU's Miles Byrd, and he will play. It's the first time San Diego State has been at least a 3-point home dog since 2020 and only the 10th time since 2006 (6-4 SU and ATS). It was last a double-digit home dog in 2002 vs. Arizona. The Aztecs are 5-2 SU in their past seven overall games vs. ranked teams -- both losses coming against two-time national champion UConn -- and have won 21 straight home non-conference games.
