Short of a dramatic run from back in the pack at the ACC Tourney next month, Jim Larranaga's string of Big Dance appearances with the Canes looks set to end next month. This Miami, however, might have a shot at the NIT if it can reach 20 wins, still very doable. The problem in the short run is that PG Nijel pack is likely to be out again tonight, further straining Larranaga's depth-shy roster. While it didn't manifest in a slower pace on the weekend at Boston College, it might tonight vs. deeper Duke.
