    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Bruce's Analysis:

Not since January 10 has Colgate tasted defeat, with 11 straight wins since. Interestingly, however, that last team to beat the Raiders was...Lafayette, which pulled the upset in Hamilton and looks to do the same in Larry Holmes' hometown of Easton. But the Leopards have cooled since early January when they were in the midst of a seven-game win streak; now, they'll lost four of seven, and Lafayette still doesn't boast of a double-digit scorer. Matt Langel's well-oiled Colgate operation has won all of its Patriot road games by double-digit margins and only has two spread Ls in this 11-game surge that can wrap up home court in the conference tourney with a win tonight.
