Creighton is off two straight losses. They’re also 5-1 ATS as road favorites. The Musketeers are only 8-6 ATS at home and have struggled from inside the arc all season, relying heavily on the three. Despite being 1-2 in their last three games, Creighton is still shooting 60.5% effectively and 88.6% from the free throw line. This should be a focused spot for the Bluejays, who can’t afford for loss three in a row.

The low fuel light is on as we need to be concerned about how much gas Creighton has left in the tank. The Jays have lost back-to-back high-scoring games — 99-98 to Butler, 91-87 in overtime at Providence — and now have their second straight road game against a Xavier team that’s built some confidence with three straight wins against bottom-half Big East teams. Sean Miller’s Musketeers are in the bubble conversation currently, and I think he knows a win on Saturday against a likely tournament team could help solidify their profile.
