Both of these teams can flat out score. Colorado State is one of the most efficient offensive teams in the country when they are playing well, and senior guard Isaiah Stevens is a bona fide All-American candidate. On the other side, UNLV has been playing its best basketball recently. The Rebels enter Friday averaging 76.8 points per game, and they are extremely athletic. Look for this game to have a blistering pace with a final point total north of 150.

It's about time to start taking UNLV seriously. The apparent demarcation point was when UOP transfer Kaylen Boone became eligible in mid-December; the Runnin' Rebels proceeded to knock off highly-ranked Creighton in their next game and have covers in six of seven since, including the rousing upset of Boise State on Tuesday night. Helping out as well vs. the Broncos was 6-7 wing Rob Whaley, who led UNLV with 18 points.
