Coming off a 3-1 day in college basketball and with some great values on the board, Jonathan Coachman is joined by standout sports betting experts Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. They dish out their featured bets for college basketball and the NHL for Friday, March 5.

Larry leads off with important injury insights in college hoops. He provides a key update on Cade Cunningham, and talks about the impact of Collin Gillespie loss for Villanova.

The Coach serves up his SportsLine Plays of the Day. He is on Western Michigan -2 over Eastern Michigan at 7 p.m. ET, and outlines the trends that support the pick. In the NHL, the Coach is going with the Blackhawks +175 over the Lightning at 8 p.m. ET.

Back on college hoops, Mike is riding with Louisiana Monroe +5 over South Alabama in a Sun Belt tournament matchup at 6:30 p.m. ET. He says that the Warhawks are simply the better team, and he likes the way they match up with the Jaguars.

After going 4-1 on Thursday, Larry is ready for another big day, starting with Sacramento State +5 over Montana State at 2 p.m. ET. He is also taking Colorado State -1 over Nevada at 9 p.m. ET, pointing out that the Rams are trending upward. He then spotlights Georgia Tech -9 over Wake Forest at 9 p.m. ET. "It could be a letdown spot for Georgia Tech. They beat Duke for the first time in 15 tries," he says. "They are going on the road for the regular season finale. Everyone says they are in the tournament. They haven't been to the tournament since 2010."

Despite those storylines seeming to work against the Yellow Jackets, Larry emphasizes how bad the Demon Deacons are, and Georgia Tech can overcome such narratives. "I don't think it's a letdown. I think this team is hungry. They don't want to slip up."
