The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions meet the Kent State Golden Flashes in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon. The Golden Lions (1-3) are just 2-20 away from home since last November, but have gotten close to pulling off the upset, losing at TCU by one and at Oklahoma by eight. The Golden Flashes (3-0) opened the season with a 79-57 win at Northern Kentucky, before posting big wins over Baldwin-Wallace and Portland. This will be the first meeting between the programs.

Tip-off from Memorial Center in Kent, Ohio, is set for noon ET. Kent State is favored by 21 points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under for total points is set at 144.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page).

Before making any Arkansas-Pine Bluff vs. Kent State picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past six years, the proprietary computer model has generated more than $1,200 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anybody who has followed it has seen profitable returns!

The model knows the Golden Flashes have four players averaging 9.7 points or more, led by guard Sincere Carry. The senior is averaging a team-high 21.7 points per game and is hitting on 50% of his shots from the floor, including 36.8% from 3-point range. Carry also is tops in assists with six and steals with 3.7 per game, and is averaging 3.3 rebounds. He averaged 17.9 points, 4.8 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game in 2021-22.

The model also knows the Golden Lions have two players averaging in double figures, led by senior Shaun Doss Jr., who has scored no fewer than 15 points in any game this season. He is averaging a team-high 18.8 points per game to go along with 4.5 rebounds, two assists and 1.5 steals. Doss was red-hot in the season-opener at TCU, scoring 25 points on 47.4% shooting from the floor, including 80% from 3-point range. He also added 17 points in the loss at Oklahoma.

Now, it has set its sights on Arkansas-Pine Bluff vs. Kent State. It is leaning Under on the total and it also says one side of the spread has all the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
