RubyPlay, a business-to-business iGaming and iCasino entity, launched in West Virginia in late March, making the Mountain State the third state where RubyPlay games can be offered.

RubyPlay designs and develops innovative slots for digital gambling content, available to existing licensed online casinos to create online casino games for real money. RubyPlay specializes in visually appealing and engaging slots with features such as multipliers, free spins, and jackpots.

"Our launch in West Virginia reflects RubyPlay's ongoing commitment to expanding across regulated US markets," Dima Reiderman, Chief Commercial Officer at RubyPlay, said in a release. "Each new state represents an opportunity to strengthen our commercial footprint while building relationships with leading operators. Through our studio-driven model, we are able to support operators with content that aligns closely with their strategy and audience, enabling them to deliver more relevant and differentiated experiences."

RubyPlay's launch in West Virginia makes its online casino content, including titles such as Vegas No Limit Wins SE, Mad Hit Diamonds, and Mad Hit Devil, available to local operations to offer to in-state residents. West Virginia offers a variety of online casino options, and RubyPlay's expansion into the state offers more real money online slots opportunities.

iGaming in West Virginia continues to grow in popularity, handle and revenue. West Virginia generated approximately $41.7 million in online casino revenue in January 2026, which was a record month, and followed by collecting $37.1 million in February.

West Virginia iCasinos generated a 41.6% revenue increase in February 2026 from February 2025 ($26.2 million). This signals the growth of iGaming popularity among West Virginia residents while adding to the reasons that RubyPlay wanted to expand into the Mountain State. Online casino revenue surpassed $1 billion nationally in both December and January, marking consecutive record‑setting months.

Along with online gaming, West Virginia also offers in-person and online sports betting, which launched in 2018. Online casino gaming has been legal in West Virginia since July 2020.

iGaming is currently legal in several states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan, and WV online casinos.

RubyPlay is planning to continue its expansion into other parts of the United States, with Pennsylvania likely next.

Some of RubyPlay's most popular games include its trademarked Immortal Ways options, with themed games such as Heart to Heart, Magic Gems, Volcano and Champions. Each specific theme comes with customized visuals and offers 10,000 ways to win.
