Though likely still minus Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs tonight, Orlando has nonetheless been holding its own in a recent difficult schedule stretch. Even shorthanded, the Magic managed to split its just-completed four-game Western Conference swing, and a look back across the past month-plus shows losses mostly vs. upper-tier foes like the Knicks, Spurs, and Rockets, and even current versions of the Celtics and Warriors are dangerous. The Magic seems to take care of business vs. lesser foes, and note that Desmond Bane now seems fully ingrained into the offense, leading the scoring three times in the past two-plus weeks.
