Election Day 2026 is upon us and an Ohio Senate seat will be up for grabs during the midterms, as incumbent John Husted (R) runs against Sherrod Brown (D) in a special election for the seat originally won by JD Vance in 2022. Sherrod Brown (D): $0.72 per share
Jon Husted (R): $0.30 per share

Sherrod Brown (D): Brown was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2006 and represented Ohio from 2007 to 2025, winning reelection in 2012 and 2018. In 2024, he lost his bid for a fourth term to Republican Bernie Moreno, 50.1% to 46.5%. Jon Husted (R): Husted served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2001 to 2009, including as speaker from 2005 to 2009, then in the Ohio Senate from 2009 to 2011. He was elected Ohio secretary of state in 2010 and served from 2011 to 2019, then served as lieutenant governor under Gov. Mike DeWine from 2019 to 2025. Gov.
